The power of the flower! May 22nd, the Berkshire Museum will kindly be hosting our next Shenanigan! Featuring the Triclones and DJ BFG! Also, some of the Berkshire Pure Movement Dancers. The galleries of the Berkshire Museum will also be open to all who attend this party, so be sure to check out the amazing exhibit "the art of the arsenal" that is on display, including weapons, armor (even cat armor!), and, our favorite, some Shepard Fairey prints, which inspired our concepts for this party! Tickets will be available at the museum in person, or you can charge over the phone to pick up at "will call." The bar will be CASH ONLY, but if you forget, there is an ATM across the street.
Feeling cooped up? Ring in the Spring! Saturday, March 27th, upstairs at Jae's Spice! Our musical guests are Chris Merenda and the Wheel (hopefully everyone caught them at the Haiti benefit at the Colonial- these guys are really bringing it!!), and DJ Nole Discoe! Gourmet appetizers, and our usual creative and fun ambience with the help of Classical Tents! Backwoods chic? Rustic fancy pants? Break out your sexy flannels and trade your heels in for some wellies!

Berkshire Shenanigans is a collaboration of like minded professionals working in the creative economy sector of Berkshire County. Aware of the “nightlife void”, they intend to harness the energy and support of local people and businesses to throw elaborate monthly parties. They believe these events will bring people together in a way that builds community and creates a vibrant nightlife for young professionals.
We envision a vibrant nightlife in the Berkshires; people of all ages, from all places coming together unified and empowered to connect, collaborate, and make positive changes within our community. We envision Berkshire Shenanigans Productions creating hip, yet sophisticated nightlife events in and around Central Berkshire County. Events of high energy and excitement with live music, dancing, and professional comrodary; a common ground where connections and ideas are created.
Inspire creativity, excitement and connections Create collaborations in the community Promote and nurture local businesses, stimulate local economy Encourage diversity by transcending gender, religion, race, ethnicity and sexual preference.
Berkshire Resident, Trevor Hotchkin, hopes to leave an ever enduring mark on his community. With a 10 year background in special events in Berkshire County, he endeavors to participate in the cultural renaissance of Pittsfield and beyond. As an operations manager for an event rental company, he has honed his skills in event design, décor, lighting, and logistics. Using these attributes Berkshire Shenanigans was born and aspires to bring a host of upscale, nightlife and community events to an increasingly affluent community.
Renee DeRagon, a life long county resident and business owner, has always realized a lack of night life in her home town and county. With her social influence, service industry background, and entrepreneurial spirit, an event production initiative was conceived. As a past chef and food service provider her experience in high end cuisine and eye for detail has given way to an extraordinary collaboration with friends and community to create Berkshire Shenanigans.
Teaming up with a common goal, founders Trevor Hotchkin and Renee DeRagon hope to follow their interests to create more happening nightlife in the area. Berkshire Shenanigans hopes to enhance the culture of its community by producing unforgettable experiences and memories.
Thank You for your support and interest.
